Caulfield South, Gardenvale and Hampton primary schools are all in receipt of funding through the 2025/26 Victorian budget, with new gymnasiums and classrooms among the exciting upgrades.

As part of a suite of budget initiatives to help families save, the state government is introducing free travel on public transport for under 18s, while seniors can benefit from free public transport on weekends.

In an exciting development, work has begun to construct a new Hampton Pier.

In a boost to rail commuters across the inner south east, the Labor state government has announced an increase to the number of services on the Sandringham Line. It means trains will run every 10 minutes between peak, down from every 15 minutes.

Sandringham East Primary School has undergone major upgrades, with the final new classrooms completed marking the end of a decade-long modernisation project.

The social housing site in Hampton East is set to deliver a 16% increase in social housing, delivering a total of 285 new homes. April marked the structural completion of the first building on the site.
