Lights, racquets, action at Royal Avenue Tennis Club

We have officially ‘turned on’ the new lights at Royal Avenue Tennis Centre in Sandringham.

The Victorian Government provided $150,000 to Bayside City Council to deliver the project for the local community.

More than 600 members use the courts at Royal Avenue, and these lights will encourage more play at night, enabling the community to enjoy more tennis, more often.

The Victorian Government has invested more than $2.4 billion in community sport and active recreation infrastructure since 2014, including almost $2 million towards projects in Bayside.

We’re getting things done – building the sporting facilities that our communities deserve.
