Transformation complete at Sandringham East Primary School

A modern gymnasium, innovative learning building, stunning new classrooms, administrative block, and upgraded sports grounds are among the transformative changes at Sandringham East Primary School, with the final stage of the modernisation project completed earlier this year.

The visionary masterplan for this school was set in motion in 2016, with works beginning a year later, and the project completed in stages.

The multi-purpose hall and gymnasium, new two-storey learning building, along with new music and arts facilities, were completed by 2019, with the final touches made to new classrooms earlier this year.

The 94-year-old school on Holloway Road has been a treasured asset to the community, and under the guidance of the principal, Jane Briffa, the future for our young learners at Sandringham East Primary has never looked brighter.

The Labor state government has invested more than $11 million in Sandringham East Primary School over the last decade, as we continue to build the Education State for future generations.

I look forward to returning to Sandringham East Primary School in the near future, and once again see the kids thriving in their learning environment.
