More trains for the Sandringham Line

The state Labor government is investing in our transport network, and I'm pleased that commuters on the Sandringham Line are set to benefit.

There will be more trains running on the Sandringham Line, meaning between-peak services will now be running every 10 mins, down from every 15 minutes.

This means locals in the inner south east are getting where they need to be faster and easier.

This Labor government is getting on with delivering the public transport system this City needs and that Melburnians expect.

The Metro Tunnel is due to open later this year, an infrastructure project which will transform the way we move around our city.

There are five new stations opening, including ANZAC Station on St Kilda Road, which will service Albert Park and the Shrine of Remembrance.

I cannot wait to see residents from across Southern Metropolitan taking full advantage.
