Families save with free public transport for kids

Public transport is becoming free, each and every day, for under 18s, as part of measures announced in the budget to help families save more.

Seniors can also enjoy free public transport on weekends, as we make those important visits a little easier.

So, whether it's getting to school, the footy match, visiting friends or seeing the grandkids, getting around our city has never been easier, and now, it's never been cheaper.

Families can save up to $755 per child - the cost of a yearly student pass, while seniors can save around $360 per year through this initiative.

It's just one way we're helping families and seniors with the cost of living.
